Done, bug-report id #358.
Please note however that the php-java-bridge developer seems to have
stopped development of the java.so and recommends usage of a native
JavaBridge.jar instead.
Support for the java.so might be dropped anytime soon, so the effort to
prevent the segfault might not even be needed.
