[xdebug-general] xdebug with linux x86_64

hi,
does anyone know wether xdebug runs on 64bit linux (i'm running suse
9.1). i've configured and compiled it without any obvious errors,
however running it together with php as an apache-module results in
segmentation faults when calling any of the xdebug functions i've tested
so far. this doesn't occur when running xdebug with the php cli. i've
tried all sorts of combinations (i.e different apache versions, php
versions and xdebug versions) and in all cases the behaviour is the
same. using a 32 bit linux on the same box however works without any
problems. if required i can supply detailed information on my setup and
a backtrace.
