[xdebug-general] Re: Cannot install Xdebug with Tailored Instructions on Mac Os X

In order to paste the output I run the commands again and tried again to
install Xdebug in XAMPP without success.

For now, I have bypassed the problem by downloading and installing MAMP,
which has Xdebug already installed inside its distribution, so for me
this is not an urgent issue anymore. Anyway, if you want to investigate
further this issue, in case other XAMPP users may get the same problem,
let me know what to try and I will inform you about the result. What I
may guess is that for any reason my iMac does not produce a valid
library, so the Zend engine simply skips it when loading.

Let me just add a note about the Tailored Instructions: I have tested
there the phpinfo() file of my new MAMP installation to check if Xdebug
was detected and the output was a bit strange, in the sense that your
script reported that Xdebug was installed but it listed anyway the
download and installation instructions to follow. Wouldn't be the case
to not show them when Xdebug is already installed?
