Actually I do have "remote_enable=on", but now that you mention it, I notice
that change _also_ is not being picked up. As near as I can tell fastcgi is
not used on this system.
It's odd that xdebug.remote_log changes do get picked up when I restart the
apache instance, but these other settings just don't. Maybe there's some
other aspect of PHP initialization that I'm missing.
In my case I'm running a separate apache config in a separate apache
instance on a separate port with my own php.ini, perhaps there's still
something getting picked up from the other apache instance?
