[xdebug-general] Need help installing xdebug on Snow Leopard

Hi,

my goal is to install xdebug on Netbeans IDE.
I'm trying to follow your help without success.

My PhpInfo return the 5.2.10 version while running php-config --version I
get the version 5.3.3

Running phpize --version I get:

PHP Api Version: 20090626
Zend Module Api No: 20090626
Zend Extension Api No: 220090626

while phpize --help return
Usage: /usr/bin/phpize [--clean|--help|--version|-v]

I tryed to run phpize from my /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/bin but I get the
error message
Cannot find config.m4.
Make sure that you run '/Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/bin/phpize' in the top
level source directory of the module

Can you please help me to understand ho to configure xdebug on my Mac?
