[xdebug-general] Xdebugging in Eclipse gets slow after a while

I'd like and advice to understand if the problem I'm experiencing is a
Xdebug fault or an Eclipse fault.

If I launch the XDebug session and debug my application for a few hours,
debugging gets slower and slower. Sometimes it takes over thirty seconds
from seeing that the debugger stopped at a breakpoint (in the Debug
view), to actually seeing the php thread in the Debug view and ending up
at the breakpoint. Stepping is much slower as well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run an XDebug PHP project
2. Debug the project a while
3. Notice that the debugger gets slower and slower.

I'm using:

-Windows 7 x64
-Eclipse Build id: 20100617-1415 (Helios Release)
-PDT 2.2.0 final
-Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) PHP/5.3.1
-Xdebug 2.1.0
-JDK 1.6.0.140
