The API changed in PHP and the 2.0.4 release was build against the old
API. I'm at the point of packing Xdebug 2.0.5 due to some crashes on
Windows and of course will provide binaries that work with later PHP 5.3
releases. Be aware though that PHP 5.3 support won't come fully before
Xdebug 2.1.
