Tried to install xdebug and have had several problems with running
phpize. Have made several tests across Redhat & Fedora, upgrades &
downgrades to several programs needed and finally got the exact
versions for autoconf-2.13, automake-1.5 and libtool-1.4.3. The
problem is that when I run phpize, I get:
autoconf: Undefined macros:
configure.in:65:AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
Looks clearly like a libtool problem, but I can't progress. Has anyone
got a clue where I should look to seek a solution?
