config.log says:
cpp: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or directory
Please install the following debian packages:
cpp
cpp-3.3
g++
g++-3.3
gcc
gcc-3.2
gcc-3.3-base
and make sure that you can execute cc1plus. This is BTW, definitely a
problem with your installation ;-)
